#RunforSophie 115 – River Lowther

After losing Sophie, his daughter, to suicide in December 2018 Andy ran a half-marathon in February 2019 using Soph’s entry. He documented his training using #RunforSophie; after the run he continued to post videos intermittently; here’s his latest, #RunforSophie 115 – River Lowther.

Andy writes:

A beautiful (slow) run in the Lowther Valley inspired me to say a few words about what I’ve been involved with since we lost Sophie.

It’s coming up to 4 years since she took her own life, our lives were shattered. As we’ve put them back together we found that our priorities have changed and we are headed in a very different direction than we were before.

This is a short reflection on what I’ve ended up doing. The Andy of 4 years ago would never have believed where he would be today.
