Day 8 Buxton to Matlock

Joined by family and friends we set off from Buxton in very fresh conditions. The weather was perfect for walking all day, most of which was spent of the superb Monsal Trail.

Met by supporters along the route we enjoyed the Derbyshire countryside and the conversation of friends old and new.

Andy’s right foot is a bit battered however Fiona, his wife, proved that she could turn her hand to acute blister-care when required.

By the end of the day we were nicely over half way along the 3 Dads Walking route. This time next week it will be done and dusted!
