Day 7 - Longtown to High Hesket

Approaching Andy’s home turf we were joined by some of his family and friends as well as a suicide-bereaved dad who had travelled up from Mansfield to walk with us.

Knowing that people are right behind us give us a great lift and encourages us to stride on with a smile.

Our cheery comment on this video about being a mile and a half from the end was misplaced….we were 3 mikes away from the finish! Somehow the OS mapping app under-estimated the distance by 2 miles…… (Hope that doesn’t happen again)
