Day 10 Knackered in Nottinghamshire

A long, long day.

With Andy suffering with a big blister on his right foot the last thing we needed this morning was a closed footpath…which we got within the first mile.

Our friend Nigel sorted a chiropodist in Southwell - Gareth at Hyde-Barker Podiatry tended to Andy’s foot in his lunch hour. What a star!

Once reaching the Trent we were joined by Tim’s mate, Lawrence, who kept us entertained and stopped traffic as we crossed roads(!) – didn’t realise that we needed that service

By the time we reached the day’s end at the far side of Newark we were all just about done for. Nigel’s veggie chilli has gone a long way to getting us back in the right direction.
