Martin,Tracey and Pete on BBC Breakfast

When we walked across England last year, we were joined by many other suicide-bereaved parents; we shared stories about our children and our grief. Everyone we met found it a great help to speak openly with people who they knew understood what they were going through and were experiencing the same feelings.

It became a great privilege to (accidentally) have put ourselves in a position where others benefited by just talking to us.

In the last month Alison Freeman from the BBC caught up with 3 of the people who joined us on our walk; this morning BBC Breakfast broadcast this very powerful piece featuring Martin, Tracey and Pete.

We’re all members of a club no one wants to join.
