Emma Webb - Do It For Brodie

Our great friend Emma Webb is walking from South Wales to London pulling a life-sized resin horse!

She is walking 160 miles in memory of her daughter Brodie who she lost to suicide in 2020. Brodie was a talented showjumper who was always excited by a pre-Christmas trip to the international Horse Show in London, consequently Emma decided that it was a good idea to pull Miles (the resin pony) from the David Broome Equestrian Centre near Chepstow (where Brodie used to jump) to the ExCel Arena in London for the start of the international Horse Show.

Yesterday she was joined by none other than HRH The Prince of Wales! William walked with Emma and helped pull Miles along as they made their way through Slough. This morning the team at BBC Breakfast showed video of that meeting and told Emma and Brodie’s story.

We are incredibly proud of the work Emma is doing in highlighting the need to talk about suicide prevention and raising the profile of PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide and Riders Minds, 2 fantastic charities. You can find out more if you visit Emma’s website:

Well done, Emma.

Brodie would be proud of you too.
