Day 24 - Green Moor to The Abbey (return to England)

A long day walking from Wales to England – just over 24 miles.

We were joined by Emma, Haydn and Jane who all walked with us in previous days (Emma did about 100 miles with us whilst we were in Wales). James, our host for the night, also spent the whole day with us.

Having had a very sociable walk this morning, our Welsh contingent left us in the middle of the Severn Bridge. Emma attached one of her Horseshoes of Hope at the highest point of the bridge – a powerful symbol that may help save a life.

Onwards into England. We began to feel that Westminster is well within our sights.
