3 Dads Walking 2024 Day 5 - Gordon to East Learmouth

Another unbelievable day.

Joined by another half dozen people at Gordon. As we started a car arrived to deliver Dougie Purves, an absolute legend from Selkirk who walked with us in 2022!

We walked across the rolling countryside towards Hume Castle, one of the most magnificent viewpoints in the Borders. Many people came out of their homes or met us at farm lane ends to offer support. We had an ever-changing group of supporters as we made our way towards Coldstream.

As we approached the Border town we were ‘forced’ to visit the café at The Hirsel – we’d recommend it! Entering Coldstream we were greeted by half the town. The sense of kindness, support and love was overwhelming. To be on the receiving end of this is something very special – all very humbling.
